So if you don't do your A levels, are you considered to have graduated [what I call] highschool? or is it like dropping out?
can you get jobs, etc?
If that doesn't make you uneducated, what does? We're talking about formal education, right? |

They called me seperatist because I was wondering whether or not Alberta should seperate. Never actually said they should, but was just wondering. |

I never said I was any better than them did I? I think its funny how you just jumped the boat on that one, kind of shows how what you read and what you think are seperate matters.
I never said I deserted anyone. I made the choice to actually carry on my education, where others havent. I grew up in a not very nice area of London, sp please spare me the talk on judging people. There are good and bad people everywhere, in every social class.
But since having continued my education and not having gone straight into work like so many of my relations and friends have, we just don't get a long so well any more, or just click like the way we used to. And its the same with people who I've met.
Im not saying anyone is better than anyone, Im saying how I dont get along so well with ordinary ranks as I used to due to differenty experiences in life. And afterall experiences shape who we are. |

quoting: Astrid Ok, so I've been told I'm a so-called "seperatist greedy hick hypocrite" for being against the coalition, because I'm an anti-Conservative. Just because I didn't vote Conservative in this election, doesn't mean that I don't think this coalition shit goes too far. I think it's a desperate act on Layton and Dion's part. And talk about deal with the devil - Gilles Duceppe?!
Why would you be called a separatist for not supporting the coalition? The Bloc is going along with it.
Rotary-- sure, ideally the government would come up with things that don't need to be back-tracked upon, but flexibility and compromise are the blessings of a minority government. The opposition has every right to shift its weight around to get what they feel is fair. I just hope they don't go too far.
I'm disappointed that parliament is prorogued though-- now we have to wait 2 months for the exciting part and have to endure more of those creepy smear ads from the conservatives. |

there's nothing wrong with striving for something more than you have, i think that's an admirable quality. but the way you've put it, i think you have a very black & white outlook on life |

Well, Parliament just got suspended.
So...Harper doesn't have the confidence of the house (which we just elected), and he's operating without parliamentry consent... |
